A Trusted Resource for Families

At our core, we believe that everyone deserves to feel valued, supported, and empowered.

Pittsford Youth Services has been part of the Pittsford community since 1969.

Founded by a group of concerned citizens, PYS was created to ensure that local youth and families had access to professional, confidential, and affordable support during challenging times.

Our Mission

Why We’re Here

At our core, we believe that every child deserves to feel valued, supported, and empowered. While growing up can be joyful and exciting, it can also come with real obstacles - academic pressure, peer relationships, family changes, anxiety, depression, grief, and more.

Many families find themselves needing support they didn’t anticipate, and that’s where PYS comes in.

How We Support Youth and Families

Our licensed social workers partner with youth, families, and individual adults to help them navigate challenges with compassion and care. By providing counseling, advocacy, education, and connection to community resources, we work to strengthen social and emotional well-being and help build the skills they need to thrive.

Each year, our team provides more than 1,800 individual counseling sessions, along with group programs, consultations, and educational services that reach hundreds more.
