How You Can Help
There are many opportunities and ways to support PYS and to share your talents and commitment to the youth of Pittsford. We are always looking for help with our special events and for community donations and sponsors to support our programming.
FOR YOUTH
The Youth Advisory Board
PYS's Youth Advisory Board offers area students in grades 8-12 community service opportunities to participate in PYS projects and events, as well as the chance to sit on our Board of Directors. Meetings are scheduled each month, attendance is not required but is encouraged at all of the meetings. Activities include planning and helping with PYS Awareness Week, the Holiday Giving Tree and our signature fundraiser, the Duck Drop!
This is a fun and worthwhile way to meet community service requirement and help a worthwhile organization and the people we serve.

FOR ADULTS
- Consider serving on the PYS Board of Directors, where you can contribute your time and expertise to improving the lives of children and families in your community. If you are interested, please contact Graig Roberts at groberts@pittsfordyouthservices.org
- Volunteer for committee work supporting our events, marketing and fundraising. Experience in these areas, as well as finance and grant writing area always needed.
- Become a sponsor for the annual Duck Drop.
- Donate: Tax-deductible contributions are gratefully accepted to help insure that our program remains affordable and successful, and that PYS will be able to continue the important work it does for many years to come.
